Sweet Potato Pound Cake for Thanksgiving!

Are you looking to make something a little different with your sweet potatoes this year? Don’t get me wrong, I love a good sweet potato soufflé, and especially a sweet potato pie! But we came across a recipe on Facebook for sweet potato pound cake and thought we would give it a try.

Rescued Shastas – A Pictorial

I bought these rescued Shastas off of the clearance rack at Walmart in summer, 2022. Being early August, I imagine they thought it was too hot and too late to do anything with these. You also know Walmart had to get that fall stock in! Seriously, these Daisies looked fine to me.
Come on home plant babies!

My New Greenhouse!

Completed greenhouse at dusk. Visible plants are banana , lemon, and avocado trees; pepper plant; citronella plants. Small white Christmas string lights line the roof and solid walls.

I created a new greenhouse out of mostly reclaimed materials! The still small voice and his hand of provision were with me all the way.
