The Winds of Change – Can they take a break?

When the idea for this post arrived, daylight saving time had just begun. And then there were the winds of change. Areas of focus between January and now have shifted more times than I’d like to admit. No more babying our plants as we find the best places in the yard for optimal growth and harvest.

Progress Waits for No One!

Community (read “relationship) is always in progress and always in a phase of transition. We come and we go, we try a new angle to thrive, we are cut and we are exposed, we are supported and we are loved. And sometimes we have done all we can do, and we need to let it be and let it heal. It will heal in its own time, and the resulting harvest will be more than you could have imagined. Because progress can be slow, or progress can be quick. And still, progress waits for no one.

I was working on a Christmas project today, two days before Christmas. It was a calendar and I was drawing simple pictures to represent the months of the year for 2024.
I got to December, and the first thing that came to mind was a Christmas Tree. We have lots of fun stories to give Christian meaning to candy canes, Christmas trees, bells, holly, and so much more. It is all fun, and yet too many arguments have been had over these things.
