Progress Waits for No One!

Community (read “relationship) is always in progress and always in a phase of transition. We come and we go, we try a new angle to thrive, we are cut and we are exposed, we are supported and we are loved. And sometimes we have done all we can do, and we need to let it be and let it heal. It will heal in its own time, and the resulting harvest will be more than you could have imagined. Because progress can be slow, or progress can be quick. And still, progress waits for no one.
My First Raised Bed!

On January 14, 2023, I started my first raised bed. I was itching to start a garden in a real yard, having recently come from a small balcony area of growing space in Colorado. Also, the soil was clay and had in-ground sprinklers that I didn’t want to disturb. So – raised beds. This was a lesson in passion, and also patience to completion.
Brainwashed – At Christmas?!

I was working on a Christmas project today, two days before Christmas. It was a calendar and I was drawing simple pictures to represent the months of the year for 2024.
I got to December, and the first thing that came to mind was a Christmas Tree. We have lots of fun stories to give Christian meaning to candy canes, Christmas trees, bells, holly, and so much more. It is all fun, and yet too many arguments have been had over these things.

Rescued Shastas – A Pictorial

I bought these rescued Shastas off of the clearance rack at Walmart in summer, 2022. Being early August, I imagine they thought it was too hot and too late to do anything with these. You also know Walmart had to get that fall stock in! Seriously, these Daisies looked fine to me.
Come on home plant babies!
